Privacy Policy

The short version

We only ask for what we need to help you.
We never sell your information.
We do not use ad trackers.
You can ask us to see, fix, or delete what you sent us.

This policy covers hoperenewedpartners.org, run by Hope Renewed Partners LLC ("Hope Renewed Partners," "we," "us"). It does not cover the records we keep for people who live in our homes. Residents get a separate notice at move-in.

What we collect

Information you give us

Referral and application form: names, phone number, email, the best time to call, the program you are interested in, the county, a target move-in or release date, and anything you write in the message box. Professionals also give their agency and role. You may tell us whether the person is on parole or probation.
Volunteer and contact forms: your name, email, phone number, how you want to help, and your message.
Email updates: your email address.
Chat assistant: the messages you type, and any contact details you choose to share in it.
Phone calls and email: whatever you choose to tell us.

Please share only what we need to reach you and understand your housing need. Do not send medical records, full criminal records, Social Security numbers, or bank details through this website. We will ask for what we need later, in a safer way.

Information collected automatically

Server and security data. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request so the site can load and stay protected from attacks and spam.
Visit counts (only with your OK). If you allow it, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It does not use cookies and does not follow you to other sites.

How we use it

To answer your questions and call you back.
To review a referral or application and decide if our housing is a good fit.
With your permission, to coordinate with the people you name, such as a case manager, the VA, or a parole or probation officer.
To arrange volunteering, donations, and partnerships.
To send email updates you asked for.
To keep the site secure, stop spam, and improve our pages.
To meet legal duties.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only as follows:

Service providers that run parts of this website for us and may use the data only to provide that service: Cloudflare (hosting, security, spam checks, and visit counts), Resend (delivers form messages to our inbox), Microsoft (our email service), Anthropic (the AI model behind the chat assistant), and FluxGrid Studio (our web developer, which operates the chat assistant). Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
People you ask us to work with, such as a referring agency or supervising officer.
When the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect someone from serious harm.
If our organization changes, for example in a merger, the new organization must honor this policy.

The chat assistant

The chat window is an automated assistant, not a person. It answers general questions using information from this website. Your messages are sent to our chat provider and to Anthropic's AI model to write a reply. The conversation is kept in your browser only until you close the tab. If you use the chat's contact form, your details are emailed to our staff. Please do not share health, legal, or case details in the chat. The assistant cannot give medical, legal, or crisis help. If you are in danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988.

Email updates

If you sign up, we use your email only to send news about our work, ways to help, and resources. Every update tells you how to stop. You can also email us at any time to be removed.

Cookies and similar tools

We keep this short list small on purpose.

Always on (needed to run the site): Cloudflare's security and Turnstile spam check may set short-lived cookies or run a quick browser check when you use a form. Turnstile is covered by Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Your browser also stores your privacy choices (hrp_consent_v1), whether you closed the email-updates box (hrp_updates_v1), and the current chat conversation (kept for the browser session).
Only with your OK: Cloudflare Web Analytics visit counts. This does not set cookies.

We do not use advertising or social media tracking. You can change your choice at any time with the link at the bottom of every page. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of anything optional.

How long we keep it

We keep form messages and referrals only as long as we need them to respond, to run our programs, and to meet legal and funding record rules. When we no longer need them, we delete them. Email-update addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Keeping it safe

This site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), spam protection, and limited staff access to messages. No system is perfect, so we cannot promise total security. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information you sent through this website, or to stop contacting you. Email or call us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
